Graduate Data Scientist
Talent Guardian are working with a well-established business based near Maidstone to offer a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated Graduate Data Scientist to join their growing data and analytics team. This role is perfect for a recent graduate (2:1 or above in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field) who has a passion for machine learning and artificial intelligence.

Key Responsibilities
- Build clean, robust, and scalable data pipelines in collaboration with the data team.
- Develop and test machine learning models that support and enhance business operations.
- Identify and explore how AI can be used to improve efficiency and drive innovation.
- Assist with ad-hoc data requests and collaborate with analysts to meet business needs.
- Present data insights and model outputs clearly for senior management and non-technical stakeholders.
- A 2:1 or higher degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related discipline.
- Strong numerical and statistical knowledge (e.g. Bayesian/frequentist methods, probability distributions).
- Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms (e.g. linear/logistic regression, random forests, neural networks, time series models).
- Experience with multiple programming languages — with Python and SQL preferred.
- Interest or familiarity with large language models and prompt engineering (desirable).
- A proactive, self-motivated, and solution-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
- A collaborative and positive team player, keen to produce high-quality work.
