We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused IT Support professional to provide 1st and 2nd line support within a busy and growing environment based in Poole. You will work closely with the IT Manager, ensuring users receive a high-quality support service and that IT systems run smoothly.Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1st and 2nd line support to users across the business, both in person and remotely
Log, manage, and resolve support requests through the internal ticketing system
Escalate complex issues to the IT Manager where required
Support the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network systems
Assist with user account administration, system access, and security controls
Maintain accurate documentation of systems, processes, and common issues
Contribute to IT projects and system improvements as directed by the IT Manager
Skills & Experience Required:
IT graduate or equivalent experience in a technical support environment
Previous experience in an IT support role (1st or 2nd line) desirable
Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and common business applications
Knowledge of networking fundamentals, printers, and peripheral devices
Experience working with a ticketing/helpdesk system
Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues in simple terms
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple requests
