Enterprise Integration & ETL Strategy Consultant

An established UK-based consultancy is seeking a seasoned Enterprise Integration & ETL Strategy Consultant. This role involves providing independent, vendor-neutral advice on integrating structured and unstructured data from various sources, including ERP systems such as D365 SCM, other ERP Systems, APIs, and web content.

Details:

Contract basis 1-2 months initially / Outside IR35

Up to £650 pday pay rate

Location – Near Swindon. Expectation to be on site for weeks 1-2 for 3 days per week, the 2 days thereafter for the duration of the contract

Key Areas:

• Assessing current integration / data landscapes
• Designing cloud-based ETL / integration architectures
• Evaluating tools (Azure, MuleSoft, Talend, etc.)
• Creating strategy documents and architecture diagrams
• Advising on governance, monitoring, and cost efficiency

Ideal Profile:

• Deep knowledge of EIP, ETL / ELT, and modern data engineering stacks
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics D365 SCM / D365FO integrations
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Certifications in Azure, integration platforms, or architecture frameworks are a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• TOGAF or enterprise architecture certification
• Certification in integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, SnapLogic, Informatica)
• Data engineering or cloud platform certifications (Databricks, GCP, Azure)
