Digital Forenic Incident Response Consultant
We are seeking a Senior DFIR Investigator to lead and deliver digital forensics, incident response, and cyber resilience services. This hands-on consulting role involves live incident response, forensic analysis, data recovery, and investigative work, often in high-pressure environments. The position may require 24/7 availability and travel within the UK and overseas at short notice.
Responsibilities:

Lead complex forensic investigations into large-scale security breaches, identifying attack vectors, scope, and data exfiltration.

Act as a subject matter expert in areas such as host-based forensics, network forensics, memory forensics, mobile, or cloud forensics.

Maintain forensic integrity of evidence and produce court-admissible reports for clients, legal, and regulatory bodies.

Conduct incident response capability assessments, develop incident response plans, and advise leadership on cyber resilience strategies.

Design and deliver breach simulations, from tabletop exercises to technical simulations, with actionable post-exercise recommendations.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Strong background in incident response, computer forensics, and related methodologies.

Expertise in at least two operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix, or macOS).

Experience consulting in DFIR and managing client relationships.

Ability to work in dynamic, high-pressure environments with professionalism and confidentiality.

Willingness to travel on short notice.

Fluency in English (written and verbal).
