Application Support Manager- TMS/IT/Logistics - Remote - Some office Travel required

I'm seeking a strong Application Support Manager with experience leading TMS/logistics IT teams. This role is all about team leadership, service delivery, and driving high-quality application support across a European transport network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop the regional TMS application support team.

  • TMS Systems support experience required
  • Manage day-to-day application support operations, ensuring SLA delivery.

  • Act as senior escalation point for all TMS-related incidents and requests.

  • Oversee resource planning, workload allocation, and team performance reviews (PDRs).

  • Drive team knowledge growth, best practice, and process improvement.

  • Ensure all support activities align with the European TMS strategy and IT standards.

  • Maintain high-quality documentation, configuration records, and compliance.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and internal IT teams to resolve issues quickly.

  • Support or lead TMS-related projects when required.

About You
  • Strong background in application support, ideally in TMS or logistics systems.

  • Proven people manager, confident leading and developing technical teams.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Hands-on understanding of configuration, analysis, and support processes.

  • Experience working within SLAs, ITIL, or structured support environments.
