You’ll be part of a collaborative environment working alongside sales, presales, delivery, and finance teams, with real exposure to high-value, complex client engagements.
Role Summary
We’re looking for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) Sales Consultant with 3–5 years of experience to manage, optimise, and advise on licensing across internal teams and client engagements.
This role is central to ensuring cost optimisation, compliance, and commercial accuracy, particularly across sales pursuits, renewals, and ongoing delivery.
Key Responsibilities
D365 Licensing Strategy & Advisory
- Advise on licence selection across Finance & Operations, Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Power Platform, and add-ons
- Assess requirements and recommend licensing aligned to Microsoft rules and best practices
- Support licensing design for new deals, renewals, expansions, and contract changes
- Stay up to date with Microsoft licensing changes and CSP policies
Sales & Delivery Support
- Act as licensing SME across Sales, Presales, and Delivery
- Support RFPs, bids, SOWs, and commercial reviews
- Validate licensing assumptions to ensure accuracy and margin protection
Cost Optimisation & Commercial Governance
- Identify opportunities to optimise licensing costs while maintaining compliance
- Support Microsoft promotions and incentive programmes
- Assist with forecasting, renewals, and budgeting
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with Microsoft licensing agreements and CSP requirements
- Maintain accurate records of licences, usage, and assignments
- Support audit readiness and internal compliance checks
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Act as liaison with Microsoft and CSP partners
- Work closely with IT, Finance, Procurement, and Delivery teams
Training & Continuous Learning
- Maintain Microsoft licensing knowledge and certifications
- Educate internal teams on best practices and common pitfalls
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- 3–5 years’ experience in Microsoft licensing (D365 focused)
- Strong understanding of D365 licensing models (F&O, CE, Power Platform)
- Experience with CSP / Direct CSP models and Microsoft Admin Portals
- Strong analytical and commercial awareness
- Ability to explain complex licensing clearly to stakeholders
- Understanding of FSCM security models and licensing impact
Desirable:
- Microsoft certifications (Dynamics 365 / Licensing)
- Experience in enterprise or multi-client environments
- Exposure to presales or deal qualification
