IT Recruitment Sales Director

We’re seeking a commercially driven Sales Director to lead and scale our agency’s revenue function. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who pairs strategic thinking with strong execution— someone who understands how to build pipeline as well as close high-value deals.

You’ll own the entire sales cycle, from outbound strategy and pipeline generation through to closing complex opportunities and developing long-term client relationships.

A defining aspect of this role is how you shape solutions, lead client conversations, and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Strategy

  • Define and execute a scalable sales strategy to deliver consistent revenue growth
  • Build, mentor, and grow a high-performing recruitment sales team
  • Establish clear KPIs, forecasting models, and reporting frameworks

Pipeline Generation

  • Design and optimise outbound sales processes grounded in best-in-class practices
  • Implement multi-channel prospecting strategies that consistently generate high-quality pipeline
  • Ensure pipeline performance aligns with ambitious growth targets

Client Acquisition & Closing

  • Lead complex sales cycles from discovery through to close
  • Deliver consultative, high-impact pitches and solutions

Client Relationship Management

  • Act as a senior client-facing leader, building trust with key stakeholders
  • Lead strategic discussions around digital experience optimisation and experimentation
  • Identify and drive upsell opportunities and long-term partnerships

Required Experience & Skills

  • Proven success in a senior sales role within an IT Recruitment Consultancy or Technology solutions industry.
  • Strong background in outbound-led sales with hands-on pipeline generation experience
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly commercial, with strong negotiation expertise

Much of your time will be out visiting and talking to clients and building business but we would like you to join us at our Head Office 1 or 2 days a week on the Ashdown Forest.

Excellent base + commission
