Senior Front End Developer - Angular - Permanent - Hybrid London 2 days a week - £100 - 120k base

Join a high-growth fintech firm as a Senior Frontend Developer, building the interfaces that power complex financial decisions. You will spend 80% of your time hands-on and 20% on technical design, architectural standards, and mentoring.

Working directly with our Solutions Architect, you will translate high-level vision into distributed, cloud-native systems using Angular and MicroUI patterns.

Key Responsibilities

• MicroUI Architecture: Design and build modular, composable frontend systems to accelerate delivery across a distributed ecosystem.
• Development: Deliver high-stakes UI components, reactive state management, and real-time data handling (WebSockets/SSE) using TypeScript.
• Technical Design: Lead framework decisions and navigate trade-offs between performance, UX, and maintainability.
• Engineering Excellence: Drive standards through rigorous code reviews, unit/E2E testing, and performance profiling.
• Fintech Focus: Ensure all interfaces meet enterprise requirements for high availability, transaction integrity, and auditability.

Your Background

• Expertise: 10+ years in frontend engineering with mastery of Angular and TypeScript.
• Architecture: Practical experience with Micro-frontends (MicroUI) and integrating with cloud-native (AWS) environments.
• Data: Expertise in consuming RESTful/event-driven APIs and managing complex, real-time data states (RxJS/NgRx).
• Quality: Strong advocate for WCAG accessibility, performance optimization, and robust testing (Jest, Cypress).
