You'll lead on the UK-specific finance legislative requirements within this deployment - including VAT, HMRC submissions and related statutory reporting - ensuring the localisation is accurate, compliant and fit for a UK & Ireland finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on UK finance legislative requirements within the IFS Cloud deployment, including VAT and HMRC submissions.
- Localise and adapt the existing Nordics IFS Cloud template for the UK & Ireland business.
- Partner with finance and IT stakeholders to ensure UK statutory and regulatory requirements are correctly reflected in the solution design.
- Support data migration, testing strategy (SIT/UAT) and go-live readiness for UK finance processes.
- Provide functional expertise on IFS Finance throughout design, build, test and cutover phases.
- Produce clear functional documentation to support a compliant, maintainable solution.
Key Skills & Experience
- Professional finance qualification (AAT/ACCA/CIMA), a BSc/MSc in Finance or Accounting, or a strong financial background.
- Strong hands-on experience with IFS Finance (IFS10/IFS Cloud); knowledge of the IFS Project Management module highly advantageous.
- Deep understanding of finance transformation and ERP best practice.
- Proven experience delivering UK finance legislative requirements - VAT, HMRC submissions (including Making Tax Digital) - within at least one full IFS Cloud implementation.
- Experience supporting an Apps10-to-Cloud migration or comparable ERP cloud transformation.
- Ability to work from an established template or blueprint and localise it for a new market/region.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, comfortable operating remotely within a distributed, multi-region team.
- Solid understanding of UK statutory accounting and compliance requirements.
