IFS Support Analyst - Permanent - Glasgow

£45,000 - £50,000 + benefits

Role Overview

An experienced IFS Support Analyst is required to join a leading services provider, playing a key role in supporting, maintaining and enhancing the IFS ERP platform across all finance functions within the business. This role blends operational support, system documentation, user training and continuous improvement, and is ideal for someone with a finance background who is eager to expand into systems, process optimisation and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve IFS support tickets across AP, AR, GL, Procurement, Projects and other finance modules, identifying recurring themes and opportunities for process improvement.
• Support the Finance Systems Lead in troubleshooting and root cause analysis, and monitor query screens daily to flag and resolve errors.
• Maintain and update ClickLearn documentation for finance processes, creating new content as knowledge grows.
• Deliver user training sessions and support new starters or new process rollouts.
• Engage proactively with finance teams and stakeholders to identify improvements, promote best practice and support change management.
• Participate in Go Live implementations, training and rollout activities, and support system upgrade testing including regression testing.
• Assist with KPI reporting for tickets and system performance metrics.
• Maintain base data within IFS and over time, take on additional responsibilities such as time corrections, user setup and permissions, and company configuration.
• Support acquisitions by understanding new business processes and helping integrate them into IFS workflows.
• Run daily Transfer Transactions jobs and support users with day-to-day IFS queries and issues.

Key Skills & Experience

• Experience working with ERP systems - IFS experience is essential.
• Understanding of finance processes across AP, AR and GL; exposure to Procurement or Projects advantageous.
• Finance background (AAT beneficial but not essential).
• Positive, proactive mindset with a strong willingness to learn.
• Confident working independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Comfortable working in a changing environment and motivated by challenge and growth.
