SAP Support & Implementation Specialist - South Manchester

TalentBank Technology is supporting an organisation within the food & beverage sector to engage an experienced SAP Support & Implementation Specialist on a permanent basis.

This is a hands-on role focused on supporting SAP S/4HANA implementation activities while establishing a centralised SAP support capability across the business. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across finance, production, sales, purchasing, and inventory functions, ensuring a smooth transition from project delivery into business-as-usual support.

Alongside SAP responsibilities, you will collaborate with the wider IT team to maintain stable, efficient, and scalable systems across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Support SAP S/4HANA implementation activities from planning through to go-live.
• Lead and support data migration, validation, and testing activities.
• Provide hands-on SAP support and act as the central point of contact for system queries.
• Maintain and optimise SAP processes across FI, MM, SD, PP, and Inventory modules.
• Deliver user training and knowledge transfer using a train-the-trainer approach.

Required Experience

• Hands-on experience working with SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Experience supporting or contributing to SAP implementation projects.
• Strong understanding of finance, production, sales, purchasing, and inventory processes within SAP.
• Experience troubleshooting SAP issues and supporting business users in live environments.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
