Our client is a fast-growing fintech operating in the global payments and trade space, focused on improving financial access in emerging markets. They are looking for a Data Analyst to join at a key stage of growth and help shape the data function.

This is a high-impact, hands-on role with strong exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence how data is used across the business.

You will work as part of a central data team, delivering analytics that drive decision-making across Finance, Operations, Product, and Compliance. You’ll translate complex business problems into structured analysis and scalable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with teams across Finance, Treasury, Operations, and Compliance
  • Build internal tools to support visibility, performance tracking, and risk management
  • Analyse operational performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Support financial analysis (e.g. revenue, unit economics, forecasting)
  • Develop dashboards and self-serve reporting capabilities
  • Deliver deep-dive analysis to support leadership and strategic decisions
  • Support data infrastructure, pipelines, and data model development

Candidate Profile

  • 6–8+ years in Data Analytics, Data Science, or similar
  • Advanced SQL and strong data modelling experience
  • Experience with modern data warehouses (e.g. Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Postgres)
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills with ability to translate data into business insights

Desirable

  • Fintech or financial services experience (payments, FX, risk, or treasury)
  • Python experience (e.g. pandas, automation, modelling)
  • Experience with financial metrics (revenue, forecasting, unit economics)
  • Strong commercial mindset and attention to data accuracy
