Contract Opportunity: ERP Project Manager (D365 Finance Transformation)

London (Hybrid) | 💼 3-Month Contract | 💰 c. £850 per day

A leading FTSE-listed global media and advertising group is seeking an experienced ERP Project Manager to support a critical phase of a large-scale Finance Transformation programme.

This organisation operates across multiple markets with thousands of employees and complex multi-entity structures, and is currently modernising its finance landscape to support future growth, scalability, and improved data integrity.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the UK Finance Director, you will take ownership of the requirements definition phase of a major ERP transformation migrating from a legacy media finance platform to Microsoft Dynamics 365.

This is a high-impact, business-critical role, where your work will directly shape the future state of finance systems, processes, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end requirements workstream for the ERP implementation
• Facilitate design workshops with senior finance and operational stakeholders
• Conduct current-state process reviews and identify opportunities for optimisation and automation
• Deliver gap analysis between legacy systems and Dynamics 365 capabilities
• Produce high-quality documentation (BRDs, process maps, user stories)
• Act as the bridge between Finance, IT, and implementation partners
• Drive stakeholder engagement, governance, and sign-off
• Support data migration planning, including mapping and data quality considerations

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Proven experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance implementations (essential)
• Strong background in requirements gathering and finance transformation
• Experience within a large, complex media or agency environment
• Deep understanding of finance processes (revenue recognition, billing, intercompany, etc.)
• Ability to challenge the status quo and drive best-practice solutions
• Excellent stakeholder management, including C-suite / Finance Director level

Highly Desirable

• Exposure to data migration, mapping, and cleansing frameworks
• Familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI
