Reporting Analyst
Our client is looking for an experienced Reporting Analyst to join their team and play a key role in turning business data into meaningful insights.
Working with data from a range of systems and business areas, you'll develop, maintain and improve reporting solutions that help teams understand performance, identify trends and make informed decisions.
You'll work closely with stakeholders to understand their reporting requirements, translating business needs into clear and effective reports.
This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical and commercially minded individual who enjoys working with data, solving problems and finding better ways to present information.
To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials:
- A degree or equivalent experience in Data Analytics, Business, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in a reporting, data analysis or service led environment
- Experience producing business reports and analysing data within a commercial or fast-paced environment.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, Power BI or similar reporting and data visualisation tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of data accuracy.
- The ability to interpret complex information and communicate in simplified terms
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A proactive approach, with the confidence to question information and identify opportunities for improvement
Within this position, you’ll also be:
- Analysing data to identify trends, risks, opportunities and areas for improvement
- Translate business requirements into meaningful reporting solutions.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their information and reporting needs.
- Provide clear analysis and recommendations to support operational and commercial decision-making.
- Ensure data is accurate, consistent and reliable across reporting systems.
- Work with data from multiple systems and platforms, consolidating information to provide meaningful business insight.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, automation and efficiency.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and performance reporting.
- Monitor key performance indicators and provide regular insight to relevant stakeholders.
- Present complex information in a clear and accessible way to a range of audiences.
- Challenge assumptions where appropriate and use data to support evidence-based decision-making.
