The Role
Reporting into the Mid-Market Sales Manager, the SME Account Manager is responsible for retaining and growing revenue alongside attracting new business, ensuring all targets are met. You will be directly responsible for optimising sales opportunities, selling the full TalkTalk Business portfolio and fostering strong relationships with your clients. You will operate within accounts from C-level down, leveraging and developing relationships to develop wallet share and win new business through referrals or lead generation.
What you will do
- Retain, grow, and develop a portfolio of mid-market customers.
- Deliver revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling, and new business sales.
- Build trusted relationships with customers at all levels, including C-suite stakeholders.
- Identify and convert sales opportunities while promoting the full TalkTalk Business portfolio.
- Work cross-functionally to deliver excellent customer experiences and resolve issues.
- Manage pipeline, forecasting, and performance targets effectively.
Skills and experience we are looking for
- Experience within the Telecommunication industry and Account Management.
- A strong commercial acumen and an understanding of revenue forecasting and attrition management.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to customers and internal stakeholders alike.
- A solid understanding of the technology within our portfolio is preferred e.g. SD WAN, Cisco Meraki, hosted telephony solutions etc.

Our way of working is to work 3 out of 5 days in the office (adjusted for colleagues who are part-time) at our HQ in Exchange Quay, with the remaining days offering the option to work from home.
