My client, a leading digital transformation consultancy, is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Consultant - GitHub Specialist (SME / Consultant) to take ownership of their enterprise GitHub environment. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, managing, and optimising GitHub Enterprise platforms, ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient collaboration across engineering teams. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders to define governance models, strengthen DevSecOps practices, and enhance developer productivity through automation and best-in-class version control strategies.

Key Requirements:

• Proven track record administering GitHub Enterprise in complex or large-scale environments.

• Deep knowledge of GitHub governance, including repository structure, access management, and security controls.

• Hands-on expertise with GitHub Advanced Security (GHAS), including code and secret scanning.

• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation workflows, and DevOps principles.

• Experience integrating SSO and identity management solutions (e.g., Entra ID/Azure AD).

Desirable Experience:

• Source control migration (Bitbucket, GitLab, SVN).

• Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

• Exposure to DevSecOps frameworks and repository lifecycle management.
