Overview

We're looking for an experienced SAP Production Planning (PP) Consultant to join a growing team of enterprise application specialists. The role involves supporting and enhancing SAP environments for a range of clients, with a focus on Production Planning (PP) and related business processes.

You'll work as part of the RunSAP Logistics Team, providing 3rd-level incident support, problem analysis and resolution, and delivering SAP enhancements. This role suits someone who enjoys working collaboratively, is customer-focused, and thrives on delivering high-quality SAP solutions.

Training will be provided on all systems and tools required for the role.

Security Clearance

Due to the nature of the clients, SC-level security clearance is required.Candidates must be British nationals and have lived continuously in the UK for the past 5 years. Unfortunately, dual nationals cannot be considered for this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the SAP SME for Production Planning (PP) - providing expert advice, 3rd-line support, and problem resolution.
  • Collaborate closely with customers and internal teams to understand requirements, define solutions, and implement improvements.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications, including SAP configuration, ABAP changes, and security requirements.
  • Develop and execute detailed test plans and manage implementation or cutover activities.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with customers and colleagues through excellent communication and service delivery.
  • Identify and suggest process and system improvements for both clients and internal operations.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Proven experience and strong knowledge of SAP Production Planning (PP) configuration and business processes.
  • Understanding of Asset Management processes within SAP.
  • Strong analytical, numeracy, and literacy skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage changing priorities.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.

Desirable:

  • SAP Certification or a willingness to undertake training and certification.
