We're seeking a Senior Engineering Team Lead who's as passionate about building great software as they are about leading talented engineers. In this role, you'll be both a technical leader and a hands-on developer - guiding architecture, driving innovation, and ensuring delivery excellence across projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Scaled Agile Planning: Lead team planning and delivery in line with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) principles - managing increments, iterations, and milestones to achieve business objectives.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and support engineers, fostering personal and professional growth through feedback, coaching, and career development.
• Technical Leadership: Oversee code quality, architecture, and technical standards to ensure best practices and maintainable solutions.
• Quality Assurance: Embed strong testing, CI/CD, and quality processes to drive reliability and performance across all deliverables.
• Architectural Design: Contribute to solution design using CQRS and Event Bus architectures, with a focus on AWS cloud environments and publish/subscribe models.
• Collaboration: Partner with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.

Skills & Experience Required

Essential:

• Proven experience leading software development teams within an agile environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills - able to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong background in delivering complex software projects from inception to completion.
• Adaptable, forward-thinking, and committed to continuous improvement and innovation.

Technical Expertise:

• Development with .NET (C#)

• Writing and executing Unit and Integration Tests

• Managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub or similar tools

• Working with AWS services including IAM, Lambda, and API Gateway

• Building front-end applications with Angular and developing RESTful APIs / Web APIs

• Implementing Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) using SpecFlow

• API testing and validation with Postman

• Implementing and maintaining OpenAPI specifications

• Database experience:

  • MS SQL Server (SQL)

  • MongoDB (NoSQL)

• Containerization and deployment using Docker
