Business Reporting Manager

  • Salary Range: £300 - £500 per day (outside IR35)
  • Location / Working Model: London / hybrid
  • Contract start: Immediate start
  • Contract duration: 12 months (potential to extend)

We're seeking an experienced reporting professional to take ownership of a critical business reporting environment, with a particular focus on data integrity, KPI governance, and performance insight.

This is a high-impact opportunity to shape how operational and corporate teams define, manage and use performance information. You’ll work across business functions to establish clear reporting standards, strengthen data quality and create a trusted single source of truth for decision-making.

With responsibility spanning KPI development, reporting governance, data stewardship and dashboard adoption, you’ll have the opportunity to improve both the quality of management information and confidence in the decisions it supports.

Role Highlights

  • Own the end-to-end KPI development lifecycle, from business definition through approval and ongoing review.
  • Establish reporting standards, governance frameworks and a controlled catalogue of approved KPIs.
  • Act as business owner for critical reporting domains, driving data quality, completeness and accuracy.
  • Partner with operational, commercial, Finance and H&S leaders to translate requirements into effective reporting solutions.
  • Coordinate dashboard delivery, user adoption, release schedules and reporting change activity.

You Will Need

  • Experience managing enterprise reporting environments and strong knowledge of KPI design and performance management.
  • Proven experience translating business requirements into practical technical reporting solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across operational and corporate functions.
  • Experience with Power BI and modern reporting platforms, alongside strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
  • Understanding of data governance, stewardship and ownership principles; data warehouse or data lake experience is desirable.
