Azure DevOps Engineer

Overview

Taskr have been engaged to support a UK client to hire for an Azure DevOps Engineer. The role will be part of a growing DevOps engineering team, supporting improvements within the delivery of Azure-native technologies to improve the efficiency and scalability of platforms offered.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and release solutions across Azure, including DevOps automation, IaC, Security, Resilience and Scalability.
• Facilitate internal initiatives to explore new ideas, concepts and solutions that drive the platform operations forward.
• Be a senior voice within the development and engineering team.
• Work with Architecture and Leadership teams to design, test and continuously improve the services they offer.

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on with Azure Services: APIM, Functions, Service Bus, Data Integration.
• Experienced in Azure Landing Zones.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps and testing integration.
• Hands on experience with Terraform, Docker, AKS and Powershell.
• Any relevant Microsoft certifications (a big plus, but not necessarily required!).

Nice to Have

• Previous SaaS provider industry experience.
• Exposure to AI development tools and practices.

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Comfortable working in large remote-based DevOps and Engineering practice.
• Proactive and a clear passion towards Microsoft technologies.
