The Role

As a 1IM Developer, you will act as a technical SME for the bank’s Identity Governance and Administration platform, providing end‐to‐end support across change‐the‐bank (CTB) initiatives, version upgrades, and ongoing operational delivery. You will work across development, integration, troubleshooting, and optimisation of the One Identity Manager (1IM) ecosystem to ensure secure, scalable, and efficient identity lifecycle management.

Your responsibilities:

• Integrate target systems (e.g., Active Directory, O365, Databases, Web Services, Mainframes, LDAP, SAP/PeopleSoft, IDaaS) for provisioning and reconciliation.
• Work extensively with Quest One Identity Manager interfaces and tools, including Manager, Designer/Web Designer, Object Browser, Data Importer, Job Queue Info, Transporter, schema extensions, and Quick Connect.
• Develop custom connectors and integrations using UNS tables when required.
• Support and customise WebUI components.
• Write medium‐to‐high complexity SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and perform database‐level analysis.
• Work with VB.NET to deliver high‐quality enhancements and fixes.
• Support version upgrades, CTB workstreams, and production operations.
• Perform deep‐dive troubleshooting and root‐cause analysis for complex IAM issues.

Your Profile

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

• Strong desire to learn and grow within IAM and emerging identity technologies.
• Excellent analytical thinking and communication abilities.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across the 1IM platform and supporting components.
• High‐level understanding of network components and system dependencies.
• Good understanding of SDLC models including Waterfall and Agile.
• Solid understanding of Change Management processes.
• Capability to use Windows server commands for operational tasks.
• Experience writing server‐side scripts (Perl, VBScript, JavaScript, or batch scripts).

Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:

• Prior experience working in a developer role.
• Experience supporting international client environments.
• Experience providing post‐production deployment support.
