The Role

As a Contract Manager , you will be responsible for managing all the client contracts and the sub-contractor contracts in BFSI Products and Platforms. These are typically large full-service contracts and with a large proportion. The team is responsible for ensuring that the contractual responsibilities are discharged and for monitoring the performance of the provider’s obligations. The team liaises with the operations and delivery directorates and assists them in understanding the contractual obligations that relate to their functions. You will be responsible for leading any contract negotiations and achieving the best commercial outcome.

Your responsibilities:

• Undertake an initial health check on key contracts and implement relevant action plan.
• Develop a framework for identifying contractual obligations and risks, ensuring and tracking progress against delivery.
• Agree with the process of the monthly monitoring and reporting of key performance indicators included in the contract.
• Lead the formal contractual review meetings with the client.
• Develop an internal process for logging contractual disputes and tracking progress on their resolution.
• Provide contractual support for Delivery, Operations and Product Development.
• Resolve any contract inconsistencies identified post contract signature, review subcontracts and negotiate as needed.

Your Profile

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

• Expertise in leading a Contract Management function.
• Experience of working within Government Contract Management functions and negotiating with third party suppliers.
• Expertise in OGC guidance on Contract Management.
• Practical experience of managing varied procurement operations working in a professional procurement environment, preferably one that is subject to EU procurement regulations
