The Role
Job Summary:
As a Infrastructure Program Director, you will be responsible to lead and manage IT infrastructure projects, including network implementations, enterprise offices upgrades, cloud migrations, and hardware/software rollouts. The ideal candidate will have strong program management experience along with a deep understanding of core infrastructure components and best practices. Experience in multi-vendor environments and senior stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and manage end-to-end infrastructure projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and budget.
- Update program status to senior stakeholders at IT Director/CIO level
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT operations, network engineers, systems administrators, and external vendors.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Create detailed project plans, schedules, risk logs, and communication strategies.
- Manage resource allocation, procurement, and vendor coordination.
- Identify, mitigate, and escalate project risks and issues as needed.
- Maintain documentation, status reports, and stakeholder communications throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with company security standards, change management policies, and IT governance.
- Support post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
- Proven experience delivering projects in one or more of the following areas: SIAM, networking, Enterprise offices, cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), or disaster recovery.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, firewalls, servers, storage systems, cloud platforms).
- Solid knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet, or similar).
