The Role
As a Relex Solution Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and delivering RELEX solutions for retail clients. You will translate business requirements into scalable system configurations and support delivery across the full implementation lifecycle, from discovery through to post-go-live stabilisation.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end solution design workshops to gather and define Forecasting and Replenishment requirements across categories and channels.
- Translate business needs into scalable RELEX configurations, including TQL, business rules, and workflows.
- Configure and implement RELEX modules such as Demand Forecasting, Replenishment, Supply Planning, and Supplier Collaboration.
- Drive the full implementation lifecycle, including discovery, design, testing, cutover, and post-go-live support.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing activities, including planning, defect management, and resolution.
- Act as the primary client-facing lead for forecasting and replenishment workstreams.
- Conduct process assessments and recommend improvements to enhance forecasting accuracy and supply chain maturity.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement through workshops, governance forums, and executive reviews.
- Develop and deliver training materials, standard operating procedures, and knowledge transfer documentation.
- Support pre-sales activities, including RFP responses, solution demonstrations, and effort estimation.
Your Profile
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
- Hands-on experience implementing RELEX solutions across Forecasting and Replenishment, Demand Forecasting, or Supply Planning modules.
- Strong proficiency in RELEX configuration, including business rules, workspaces, and system setup.
- Good understanding of the RELEX data model.
- Experience working with TQL (RELEX proprietary query language).
- Background in retail supply chain processes, including demand forecasting, replenishment, or inventory optimisation.
- Experience within sectors such as grocery, FMCG, food retail, or hardlines.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise software implementations within system integration or consulting environments.
- Strong skills in business requirements gathering, process mapping, and fit-gap analysis.
- Experience using project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or MS Project.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams independently and deliver within deadlines.
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
- RELEX certification at associate or practitioner level.
- Exposure to advanced RELEX modules such as Promotions, Seasonal Planning, Markdown Optimisation, or Assortment Planning.
- Knowledge of reporting and visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
