The Role

As a Senior OT Security Engineer – L3, you will bring deep expertise in ICS/OT security, with a strong focus on managing and optimising the Armis Centrix platform, to support large‐scale manufacturing environments. In this role, you will work closely with plant teams, cross‐functional stakeholders, and vendors, to strengthen the overall OT security posture, improve asset visibility, and enhance threat and vulnerability management across the OT landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimise the administration and management of the Armis Centrix platform across plant environments.
  • Review the current deployment architecture of Armis Collectors and recommend improvements to reduce hardware footprint, simplify deployment complexity, and improve asset coverage.
  • Review existing Armis configurations and implement enhancements to enable standardisation and best practices.
  • Analyse and fine‐tune false positives and alert configurations within Armis.
  • Review asset inventory and vulnerability data and improve data accuracy and reporting quality.
  • Assess existing threat detection use cases and recommend, design, and implement additional use cases.
  • Develop and enhance reporting on assets, vulnerabilities, and threats for plant and security stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross‐functional teams, vendors, and plant operations teams to align security controls with operational requirements.

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

  • Extensive industry experience, with strong experience in OT / ICS Security.
  • Hands‐on experience working with the Armis Centrix platform in OT environments.
  • Strong understanding of plant OT infrastructure including PLC, DCS, MES, and SCADA systems.
  • Good knowledge of OT network infrastructure, topology, configuration, and data flow architecture.
  • Experience in asset management, vulnerability management, and security incident management within OT environments.
  • Strong knowledge of information security concepts including Authentication, IAM, Endpoint Security, Firewalls, PKI, DLP, DAM, and EDR.
  • Working knowledge of SIEM technologies such as Google Chronicle, Splunk ES, or QRadar.
  • Experience with log source integration, correlation rule development, and parser writing.
  • Experience in SOC operations, automation, and incident management processes.
  • Ability to lead, coordinate, and communicate effectively within cross‐functional team environments.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present analytical data to varied audiences, including senior management.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.

Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:

  • Experience working within manufacturing, healthcare, energy, or utilities domains.
  • Hands‐on experience with OT infrastructure, networks, and OT‐specific applications.
  • Experience supporting large global clients in complex industrial environments.
  • Exposure to cloud operations, such as AWS.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
