The Role

As a Salesforce Release Manager, you will design secure, automated, and scalable software delivery pipelines across enterprise environments. You'll ensure security is embedded throughout the SDLC while working closely with teams leveraging Salesforce platforms and deployment tools such as Copado, Gearset, AutoRABIT, Flosum, Blue Canvas, Salto, Prodly, and Hutte.

Your responsibilities:

• Define and implement DevSecOps frameworks, standards, and best practices for multi-cloud and Salesforce ecosystems.
• Design secure CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce (Core, Commerce Cloud, Marketing Cloud) and other enterprise platforms.
• Develop threat modeling strategies for applications and integrations.
• Implement and optimize deployment strategies using Salesforce DevOps tools such as Copado, Gearset, AutoRABIT, Flosum, and others.
• Ensure secure version control and release management for Salesforce in shared environments.
• Integrate security checks and compliance validations into deployment pipelines.
• Embed security tools (SAST, DAST, SCA, container scanning) into build and deployment workflows.
• Implement secrets management and secure configuration practices for Salesforce and connected systems.
• Select and integrate tools for code analysis, vulnerability scanning, and compliance checks.
• Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) security practices for cloud and hybrid environments.
• Manage DevSecOps practices across shared environment models with complex governance.
• Deliver secure solutions for enterprise accounts with multi-cloud or hybrid setups.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to enforce secure coding standards.
• Establish security KPIs and dashboards for continuous monitoring.
• Provide guidance and training on DevSecOps principles and best practices.

Your Profile

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce DevOps tools: Copado, Gearset, AutoRABIT, Flosum, Blue Canvas, Salto, Prodly, Hutte.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in security tools: SAST, DAST, SCA, container security, and secrets management.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Deep understanding of application security, OWASP Top 10, and threat modeling.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to drive cultural change toward a security-first mindset.

Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:

• Certified in Salesforce DevOps, DevSecOps, Kubernetes Security (CKS), CISSP.
• AWS/Azure Security Specialty.
• Experienced in managing enterprise-scale environments with shared deployment models.
• Knowledge of Salesforce Automotive Domain is an advantage.
