The Role
As a ServiceNow Solution Architect & PreSales Lead you will be in a critical strategic position responsible for leading technical sales pursuits and driving ServiceNow platform adoption. This role serves as the primary solution architect throughout the sales cycle, articulating the value of ServiceNow solutions to prospective customers, and ensuring alignment of client objectives with ServiceNow capabilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Be a trusted advisor to customers by leading discovery sessions, understanding customer requirements, defining scope, design scalable solutions and create implementation roadmaps on ServiceNow platform.
- Support sales pipeline & lifecycle by actively leading RFPs and proactive opportunities, building winning proposals, contributing to RFP/RFI responses, estimating effort & pricing and drafting statements of work.
- Develop and present compelling technical presentations and demonstrations of ServiceNow solution & platform features articulating the value as per customer requirements.
- Responsible for opportunity tracking & updates, advancement and closure to drive revenue growth.
- Support partner engagement, account mapping, identifying cross/upsell opportunities.
- Responsible for the technical solution design, PoC / PoV leveraging ServiceNow platform, GenAI capabilities and integration with third-party technologies & monitoring tools.
- Advise and ensure customers use leading ServiceNow practices & capabilities related to instance strategy, architecture, technical governance, data and integrations.
- Work with diverse teams and customers to improve product adoption, increase footprint & provide guidance to project teams at onsite / offshore on solution implementation.
- Develop strategies and guide customers to obtain maximum value from their ServiceNow investment & License usage.
- Provide technical consultation to client stakeholders on critical issues, answering platform related questions, and improvement opportunities.
- Participate in industry events to build market presence and generate leads. Share insights on market trends and competitive positioning.
Your Profile:
Essential knowledge/experience:
- Good experience in IT Infrastructure/Apps including in IT Solutions architecture / Bid Management / Pre-Sales support.
- Demonstrated experience in technical consulting, sales cycles as a solution architect, presales, professional services.
- Demonstrated experience in multiple ServiceNow implementations, migrations & upgrades and Strong understanding of IT service management processes and frameworks
- Strong technical & hands on experience in multiple ServiceNow product suites - ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, Now Assist, etc & other related applications & 3rd party software integrations with ServiceNow.
- Experience with CMDB design, architecture, and implementations, MID Server management, Discovery, Service Mapping, ATF.
- Experience in Glidescripting, Python, JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, HTML, CSS, Workflow and UI development and Service Portal Concepts, business rules, client scripts, data imports, custom apps, and development methods.
- Relevant ServiceNow certification eg. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, ServiceNow Certified Master Architect (CMA) or Technical Architect (CTA) certification.
- Demonstrable experience of collaborating with geographically dispersed teams, requirements management, agile practices and working with clients to foster positive relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication & presentation skills to client stakeholders, adept at translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong creative thinking, problem-solving, planning, time-management, and organizational skills.
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
- Experience in Banking, Financial Services and Insurance is an advantage.
- Expertise in data centers, storage, hosting, tool technologies & technical architecture.
- Deep understanding of industry trends, concepts, opportunities, threats & constraints.
- Experience & knowledge of GenAI, predictive analytics, or automation workflows in enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with NLP frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and LLM fine-tuning techniques.
- ITIL certification and/or AI/ML certifications (AWS, Google Cloud).
- Experience with implementing scripted web services in ServiceNow, Java, and CMDB or asset integrations in ServiceNow.
- Knowledge of SAML, Active Directory, or LDAP.
- ServiceNow developer Certification, including ITSM, ITOM, Asset Mgt, ITBM, CSM, SecOps, GRC, or HR.
- Exposure to HRSD, IRM, CSM, FSM, GRC, mobile solutions, Reporting & Analytics & other industry specific solutions.
- Well-versed in modern web technologies and cloud computing architectural principles for cloud-based platforms that include SaaS, PaaS, multi-tenancy, and automation.
- Experience of custom applications development, Design and modification of ServiceNow Service Portal.
- Excellent knowledge of ServiceNow Best Practices and ongoing knowledge of the latest ServiceNow features.
