The Role

As a UI MSAL Developer, you will be working for one of the leading public sector accounts focusing on delivery and development of their systems.

Your responsibilities:

• Building dynamic and responsive user interfaces complying with the GDS standards.
• Contributing and developing UI experiences to the technology platform.
• Working within a Dev-ops multi pipe-line environment.
• Peer review pull requests on new and existing projects.
• Understanding of W3c standards and accessibility compliance (Government AA compliance).
• Techniques in build optimisation and performance for npm packages.
• Server-side and client-side performance techniques.
• Be responsible for Unit, Integration Testing, and End-to-End testing.
• Working in Agile teams.

Your Profile

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

• Strong experience in HTML, JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, SCSS, SCSS modules.
• Hands on experience in Git.
• Strong Skills in React, Next.js, Redux, React Context API, and State management.
• Good understanding of the Testing frameworks e.g., Jest, React testing library, and Enzyme.
• Strong working experience in package Build tools e.g., Webpack and Rollup.
• Experienced in building and deploying micro-frontend applications.
• Has the flexibility and understanding to work with UX tools e.g., Figma and Adobe suite.
• Good work experience on Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, Bootstrap and Talvin.
• Strong understanding in Msal.js and B2c knowledge (templates using html and js).
• Familiarity with tools like Sonar cloud and Git security scanning.

Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:

• Public sector or GDS experience.
• Understanding of NodeJs.
• Good understanding of Security management, Caching techniques, and Cloud technologies.
• Experience contributing to the architecture and design of new or current applications (micro frontends, design patterns, reliability, scaling, automation).
