The Role
As a Wealth Management Domain consultant. You will provide strategic advisory and industry expertise to Wealth Management and Private Banking clients. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will help define business strategies, drive transformation initiatives, optimize operating models, enhance client experiences, and support the adoption of emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence. The role combines deep domain knowledge with consulting, business transformation, and technology expertise.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide subject matter expertise in Wealth Management and Private Banking, advising executive stakeholders on business strategy, growth opportunities and transformation priorities
- Monitor and analyse market trends, competitive developments, regulatory changes and emerging technologies impacting the Wealth Management industry
- Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives, business leaders and transformation programmes.
- Support definition and execution of large-scale Wealth Management transformation programmes.
- Advise clients on platform modernisation and digital transformation initiatives.
- Conduct current-state assessments across business, operations, technology and customer experience and define target operating models, transformation roadmaps and strategic recommendations
- Assess and recommend industry platforms, ecosystem solutions and integration approaches
- Support the adoption of AI, analytics, automation and digital capabilities within Wealth Management operations
Your Profile
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
- Extensive experience within Wealth Management, Private Banking and / or Investment Management.
- Strong understanding of Wealth Management business processes, client journeys and operating models.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements affecting Wealth Management organisations.
- Proven experience leading business transformation and consulting engagements.
- Experience advising senior business and technology executives.
- Experience with digital transformation, customer experience and technology modernisation programmes.
- Wealth Management business structure, operating models and propositions, including financial planning, advice, Investment platform ecosystems, Client acquisition and onboarding, Client servicing and engagement, Advisor productivity and enablement.
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
- Executive presence and ability to build relationships to influence and manage senior stakeholders
- Strategic thinking, problem solving and deep analytical skills
- Ability to draft and deliver Executive-level presentation, highlighting thought leadership
- Proposal and report writing and supporting responses to RFIs/ RFPs
