Procurement Systems & Compliance Lead

We’re looking for an experienced Procurement Systems & Compliance Lead to take a key leadership role in procurement systems, governance, compliance and continuous improvement. This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional who combines strong procurement process knowledge with hands-on experience of P2P, S2C and e-procurement systems, and who can drive effective controls, data quality, performance and process improvement across the procurement function.

About the Role

The Procurement Systems & Compliance Lead will take ownership of procurement systems, governance, compliance and continuous improvement, ensuring effective controls, high-quality data, and optimised processes across the procurement function.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop procurement systems, processes and data, ensuring they support business and procurement objectives.
• Manage and improve P2P, S2C and e-procurement processes.
• Own procurement governance, compliance, controls and policies, ensuring robust and consistent application.
• Identify and deliver continuous improvement and process optimisation opportunities.
• Monitor procurement performance, systems usage and data quality, using insight to drive improvements.
• Support audit, risk and assurance activities, ensuring procurement controls are effective and appropriately documented.
• Work collaboratively with Procurement, Finance, IT, suppliers and wider business stakeholders.
• Support the ongoing development and optimisation of procurement technology and digital processes.

Required Skills

• Strong procurement process knowledge with hands-on experience of P2P, S2C and e-procurement systems.
• Strong practical knowledge of:

• E-procurement
• Procurement governance and compliance
• Procurement controls and risk management
• Systems and procurement data
• Process improvement and performance management
• Audit and assurance
• Analytical, commercially minded and process-focused, with the ability to translate procurement requirements into effective systems, controls and improvements.
