The Company
My client is a well-established creative production agency with manufacturing at its core. They produce everything from large-format printed boards, banners, and signs to exhibition stands and a wide range of visual marketing materials and POS.
The Role
The company is entering a major growth phase and is looking to hire a Business Development Manager to upscale their modular exhibitions division. Predominantly based in the field, with frequent office visits, we are looking for someone experienced and knowledgeable to join the team.
Key Responsibilities
- New business development within events and exhibitions industry
- Managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to close
- Working across a variety of sectors (including defence, hospitality, corporate)
- Target opportunities beyond the obvious venues
- UK and European projects
- Work with internal estimating, logistics, and design teams to deliver projects smoothly
Requirements
- Proven experience selling exhibitions (modular experience essential)
- Existing network within the exhibitions industry
- Understands where to find opportunities and has a strong network
- Commercially minded with confidence selling premium solutions
- Comfortable working autonomously in a growing SME
- Sector background flexible network and credibility matter most
