Senior Legal Counsel - Manchester

A leading UK financial services technology business is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join its growing in-house legal team in Manchester, operating on a hybrid basis with 3 days per week in the office.

This is a broad commercial role with a strong focus on SaaS, software, cloud and technology agreements, supporting a well-established client base across the financial services sector. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will draft and negotiate high-value customer contracts, advise on data protection and regulatory matters, and act as a key commercial adviser to the business.

Applications are welcomed from UK qualified solicitors with 5+ years’ PQE and significant experience handling complex technology and SaaS contracts. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of data protection law, commercial risk management and the regulatory landscape affecting technology providers operating within financial services. Exposure to AI contracting considerations and the ability to deliver practical, business-focused advice will be highly beneficial. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities are essential.
