Full-Time Position | Secondary School | Bury Commencing: September 2026
A secondary school in Bury invites applications for the position of Computer Science Teacher to join its teaching staff on a full-time basis from September 2026.
This appointment represents an opportunity to contribute to a forward-thinking department committed to delivering a high standard of education and fostering student achievement. All candidates will be paid the their scale - MPS/UPS.
Main Duties- Deliver Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Prepare and implement structured and effective lesson plans
- Assess student performance and support ongoing progress
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
- Engage fully in the wider responsibilities of school life
Applications will be considered from candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (essential)
- Possess a relevant academic qualification in Computer Science or a related field
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and classroom practice
- Show commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning
- Exhibit a professional and collaborative approach
