Theyarelookingforatalentedindividualwhowilldesign,implement,andmaintaintheirpublishingsoftware,systems, andcustomer-facingdigitalproducts.

Requirements

• Designandimplementsystemsandsoftwaretomeetrequirementsusingappropriatetoolsandmethods.
• Promotethecreationofhigh-qualitycodebycommitmenttopracticessuchastest-drivendevelopment,pairprogrammingandcodereview.
• Beresponsibleforthetechnicaldevelopmentofallstagesofsoftwarecreation,includingtesting;ensurethatimplementationmeetssecurity,performance,andsafetyrequirements.
• Suggestimprovementstothecodebase,developmentprocesses,toolingandworkingpractices.Encourageinnovationbyidentifying,evaluatingandadoptionofemergingtechnologies.
• Assistwiththedesign,implementation,andtestingofAPIsthatadheretotheOpenAPIspecification

Knowledge&Skillsforthisjob

• Abletodemonstratecommercialsoftwaredevelopmentexperience.
• Practicalexperienceinsystemdesign,development,testingandoperationalstability.
• DeepknowledgeandexperienceinPythonanditsecosystem,patternsandpitfalls.
• Experienceapplyingcontinuousdelivery,testdrivendevelopmentandpairprogramming.
• ExperienceofworkinginanagileenvironmentandanunderstandingofScrumprinciplesinparticular.
• ExperiencewritingandconsumingRESTfulAPIsinPython.
• ExperiencewithAWSservices(Lambda,DynamoDB,ElasticSearch).
• ExperiencewithcreatingwebapplicationUIsusingReactJSandwithTypeScript
