Job Description:
A platform tech specializing in Logical Planning and Inventory, you will spearhead an agile platform delivery team, leading and overseeing the development of logical inventory and planning platforms across our mobile estate and driving expansion into the fixed domain as part of our evolving OSS Transformation.
Your role will involve transforming the way we work to accelerate software delivery speed, improve quality and reducing cost using both agile software delivery and platform engineering best practice. You will work in close collaboration with our Digital Network Products team delivering open and intuitive platforms to optimise developer experience enabling high value products. Planning and Inventory capabilities are the foundation of our OSS stack and critical in underpinning our vision to move to a highly programmatic and autonomous network.

The must haves
In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;
- Strong experience in Agile software delivery / development in Telco OSS domain coupled with a solid understanding of Planning and / or Network Inventory Systems.
- Strong background in DevSecOps practices, including test automation, pipelines, source control, and cultural change.
- Solid understanding of Platform Engineering and its applicability to OSS.
- Working experience and knowledge of public, private and hybrid cloud providers, technologies and services including containerisation (Docker, K8’s etc) and also a working understanding of data and application frameworks on cloud.
- Knowledge of telecom industry standards, protocols, and technologies.
