Tech Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • As a Tech Specialist,
  • Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions for ITOM processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project objectives.
  • Configure and customize ServiceNow modules including Event Management, Discovery, Proactive Customer Notifications.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with third-party tools and systems to automate processes.
  • Develop ServiceNow workflows, business rules, UI policies, and client scripts.
  • Conduct system testing and assist with user acceptance testing.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for ServiceNow applications.
  • Stay updated with ServiceNow releases and new features to leverage best practices.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems using standard and non-standard mechanisms like REST, SOAP etc. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist certification preferred.
  • Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer, specifically in TSOM implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities including ITSM and ITOM modules.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS, and REST/SOAP integrations.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
