Solution Architect -- Hybrid
Solutions Architect is required by this high-growth business operating at scale in the global eCommerce space. This role will lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of delivery solutions across an international network, supporting a diverse portfolio of clients. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring scalable, cost-effective, and reliable cross-border delivery for both existing and new customers.
Working closely with internal teams, carriers, technology partners, and clients, you will drive the development of new delivery products, enhance existing services, and support the company's continued expansion in a fast-paced, international environment.
Responsibilities will include -
- End-to-end delivery solution design and implementation for cross-border eCommerce clients
- Lead the onboarding and launch of new delivery products, lanes, carriers, and services
- Act as the key link between commercial, operations, technology, and carrier partners
- Manage delivery-related projects from concept through to live operation
- Ensure solutions meet customer requirements, service levels, and commercial objectives
- Identify and mitigate risks related to customs, compliance, capacity, cost, and service performance
- Drive continuous improvement across delivery performance, transit times, and cost efficiency
- Define and maintain delivery governance, KPIs, and reporting frameworks
- Support sales and account teams with delivery expertise during pitches and solution design
- Stay up to date on market trends, carrier capabilities, and cross-border regulatory changes
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in supply chain, logistics, or delivery solutions within online retail, eCommerce, environments
- Strong understanding of international shipping, last-mile delivery, carrier networks, and customs processes
- Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder delivery or logistics projects
- Commercial awareness with the ability to balance cost, service quality, and scalability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience with logistics or eCommerce technology platforms is highly desirable
