Senior Associate – Workday HCM & HRIS Applications

Location: London (Hybrid)

Salary: £110,000

TechNET IT has partnered with a leading global private equity investment firm to recruit a Senior Associate, Workday HCM & HRIS Applications.

Our client is an internationally recognised organisation with offices across multiple continents, investing in and supporting businesses across financial services, healthcare, technology, consumer and industrial sectors. This is an opportunity to join a highly collaborative technology team where Workday is central to the firm's people strategy and continued growth.

We're looking for an experienced Workday professional who enjoys taking ownership of HR systems, driving continuous improvement and partnering with HR and Technology teams to deliver scalable, best-in-class solutions.

The Role

As the Workday HCM subject matter expert, you'll lead the configuration, optimisation and ongoing development of the Workday platform, ensuring it continues to meet evolving business needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Owning configuration across Workday Core HCM and additional functional areas such as Onboarding, Benefits, Absence, Compensation, Talent or Security.
  • Partnering with HR and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions.
  • Leading Workday releases, testing, tenant management and system enhancements.
  • Supporting HR systems operations, troubleshooting complex issues and managing integrations with related applications.
  • Developing reports, dashboards and data governance processes to improve decision-making and data quality.
  • Providing guidance on Workday best practice, future functionality and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Supporting user adoption, documentation and knowledge sharing across the business.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong hands-on Workday HCM configuration experience within a complex enterprise environment.
  • Expertise in Core HCM together with at least one additional module, such as Benefits, Compensation, Talent, Absence, Onboarding or Security.
  • Experience with Workday Business Processes, tenant management and Report Writer.
  • Knowledge of HR systems integrations, testing and release management.
  • Experience using ServiceNow or a similar ticketing platform.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
