Hiring: Senior AI/Data Platform Architect

Location: UK

We’re supporting a large-scale transformation programme within a highly regulated environment, focused on building and scaling enterprise AI capability across a complex data landscape.

This is a senior, strategic hire responsible for shaping AI platform architecture, driving standards, and aligning AI solutions to real business use cases.

Key focus areas:

• Design and evolve enterprise AI and data platform architecture

• Define governance, data modelling, and information architecture standards

• Lead selection and implementation of AI technologies (AWS stack including Bedrock, SageMaker, Amazon Q)

• Partner with senior stakeholders across data, engineering, and business functions

• Guide a small team and work with external delivery partners

We’re looking for:

• Strong experience in enterprise AI/data platform architecture

• Deep understanding of AI lifecycle, deployment, and platform design

• Experience with cloud and hybrid environments (AWS preferred)

• Background in data governance, metadata, and modelling

• Proven stakeholder leadership in complex organisations

Nice to have:

• Experience within pharma, life sciences, or other regulated industries

• Exposure to LLM / GenAI or multimodal systems

• Manufacturing or industrial AI use cases

This is a high-impact role with real ownership across strategy and delivery.
