Technet IT has partnered with a leading organisation in the industry to appoint an experienced Contract Delivery Lead for a live, Azure-based, API-first software programme.

This is a replacement hire. The previous appointment did not provide the level of delivery ownership and governance control required, so we are being deliberately precise in our brief.

This is not a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or reporting PM role.

We require a hands-on delivery owner who will take full accountability for execution and control across a complex live programme.

The Role

You will:

• Personally commit to delivery plans and stage exits

• Actively manage scope, sequencing, and interdependencies

• Identify, mitigate, and own programme risk

• Use Jira as a genuine planning and control tool (not just reporting)

• Provide clear, structured, defensible governance reporting

• Stabilise and reset delivery where required

• Operate confidently within a live Azure, API-first architecture environment

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience leading delivery within Azure-based software programmes

• Strong technical credibility - able to challenge engineering constructively

• Demonstrable experience resetting or stabilising live programmes

• Clear evidence of delivery ownership, not coordination

• Strong governance discipline and stakeholder confidence at senior level

• Experience operating in regulated or structured delivery environments preferred

Delivery ownership and technical credibility are non-negotiable.

This is an Inside IR35 engagement requiring an individual comfortable operating with autonomy, clarity, and accountability.
