TechNET IT has partnered with a leading global technology and transformation consultancy to support the continued growth of its UK Workday practice.

We are looking for an experienced Principal Workday Financials Data Consultant to join a major transformation programme, taking ownership of complex financial data migration, conversion and reconciliation across the Workday implementation life cycle.

The Role

Working at Principal Consultant level, you will act as a Workday Financials data specialist, partnering closely with client and delivery teams across transformation, implementation and deployment.

Key responsibilities will include:

Leading Workday Financials data migration and conversion activities across complex implementations

Managing the extraction, cleansing, transformation, loading and reconciliation of financial data from Legacy platforms into Workday

Mapping source data into Workday conversion templates across General Ledger, financial transactions and reporting structures

Using Workday migration and loading tools including iLoad, EIB, Object Transporter, Advanced Load and Migration Recipe

Designing data validation, reconciliation and monitoring processes to ensure accuracy and auditability

Developing ETL and transformation logic to cleanse, normalise and optimise complex financial datasets

Supporting tenant-to-tenant migrations and configuration movement

Working directly with client stakeholders to identify data risks, resolve issues and ensure successful delivery

Supporting reporting and analytics requirements, including Workday Prism Analytics where applicable

Essential Experience

Active SC Clearance

Workday Financials Certification

Strong Workday Financials implementation experience

Proven financial data migration, conversion and reconciliation expertise

Strong understanding of General Ledger, transactions and financial reporting structures

Experience with Workday data loading and migration tooling

Strong Excel and data manipulation skills

Excellent client-facing consulting and stakeholder management experience

Experience with Workday Prism Analytics, SQL, ETL or other data querying and transformation technologies would be highly advantageous.
