Azure Solution Architect - API's - Outside of IR-35

We are looking for a hands-on API Architect to support a large-scale transformation programme involving the migration of existing APIs from an on-premise environment into Azure.

The successful consultant will help define and deliver the target API architecture, including decomposition of existing services, adoption of cloud-native patterns and introduction of event-driven architecture using Kafka.

Candidates should have a strong background in either .NET or Java-based API development and architecture, with proven experience delivering API modernisation and cloud migration projects within regulated environments.

Essential Experience

• Proven API Architecture experience
• Strong background in either .NET or Java
• Experience migrating APIs from on-premise environments to Azure
• Event-driven architecture design and implementation
• Kafka
• API modernisation and decomposition
• Experience working within regulated industries
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Microservices architecture
• Azure Integration Services
• CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Enterprise integration patterns

Rate - Up to £500 per day (Outside of IR-35). You would initially be expected to come part time onsite in London, however this can become flexible over time.
