Platform Engineer
Senior AWS Platform Engineer | AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes | Remote, up to £90k
A growing cloud and platform engineering consultancy is looking for a Senior AWS Platform Engineer to play a key role in designing and building secure, scalable cloud platforms for a range of high-impact projects.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges, improving developer experience, and enabling teams to deliver software faster and more reliably.
You’ll be working with modern cloud-native technologies across AWS, using tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes (EKS), and CI/CD pipelines to build robust, production-grade platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate AWS platform components aligned with best practices
- Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines to support efficient, reliable delivery
- Support containerised workloads using Kubernetes and EKS
- Collaborate with engineering teams to enable cloud-native development patterns
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for improved visibility
- Create reusable modules and deployment patterns
- Contribute to continuous improvement of platform performance, security, and scalability
Requirements
- Strong experience working with AWS in a platform or DevOps capacity
- Hands-on experience with Terraform (or similar IaC tools)
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerised environments
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation practices
- Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional engineering teams
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on reliability and scalability
Location: Remote (UK-based)
Salary: Up to £90k
