Ruby on Rails Developer

Ruby on Rails Developer | Ruby, Postgres, JavaScript | Fully Remote, Up to £80k

We're working with a fast-growing, product-led tech company looking for a Ruby on Rails Developer to join a small, high-impact engineering team.

You’ll be building and shipping features end-to-end in Rails, working across backend and frontend, and playing a key role in how the product evolves. This is a high-autonomy environment with a strong focus on output.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver features end-to-end from problem through to release
• Build and maintain functionality in a Ruby on Rails codebase
• Work across backend and frontend as required
• Debug issues and improve performance and reliability
• Collaborate with wider teams to shape solutions
• Contribute to improving development workflows and processes

Skills:

• Strong experience with Ruby on Rails
• Comfortable working full-stack with JavaScript, CSS and SQL
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of delivery
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment
• Open to using AI tools within the development workflow

Location: Remote

Salary: £60-80k
