Senior Rust Engineer (Leptos)

Working with a team building next-generation global connectivity systems across satellite, airborne, and terrestrial networks.

This is a genuinely interesting engineering environment tackling problems around distributed systems, networking at scale, and real-world infrastructure that operates beyond traditional constraints.

The role:

Looking for Rust engineers to help build and scale a high-performance platform used to orchestrate complex, distributed communication networks.

A big focus is on building full-stack applications in Rust, so experience with Leptos (or similar Rust frontend frameworks) is highly relevant.

What you’ll be working on:

• Backend systems in Rust (high-performance, distributed)
• Full-stack Rust applications using Leptos
• APIs using gRPC / Protocol Buffers
• Systems running in cloud-native environments (Kubernetes)
• Solving challenges around networking, data flow, and system reliability at scale

What they’re looking for:

• Strong experience with Rust in production environments
• Experience with Leptos (or interest in full-stack Rust)
• Background in distributed systems or scalable backend architecture
• Comfortable working in cloud environments (AWS/GCP/K8s)
• Someone who enjoys solving complex, low-level problems

Nice to have (not essential):

• Experience with networking systems or protocols
• Exposure to event-driven architectures
• Interest in high-performance or systems-level engineering

Logistics:

• UK-based
• Able to travel to London once a month
