Director of Product Management
Techmunity are hiring a Product Director for a seed-stage AI data platform with real customers, real revenue, and genuine commercial traction.
This is the top product seat. You'll report directly to the CEO, own product strategy and roadmap end to end, and join the leadership table with meaningful equity.
Why this role and company are worth your time
- The company has grown organically to strong ARR with enterprise and public sector customers already in production. You're not being asked to find PMF. You're being asked to turn proven product-market fit into repeatable commercial motion.
- You'll report directly to the CEO and own the product function end to end. You sit on the leadership team, not below it.
- The founders have already done the hard work. Cambridge and Imperial-trained, backed from day one by a major US tech infrastructure investor and an experienced deep-tech chairman.
- The work matters. The platform sits at the core of how operators in complex, regulated environments make decisions that affect millions of people every day. This is not another martech tool.
- Equity granted at seed-stage valuation in a company with real customers and growing revenue. Meaningful upside without seed-stage existential risk.
The shape of the role
The product spans three technical capability areas that the company is investing in simultaneously: data analysis and data science, data pipelining and infrastructure, and agentic workflows.
You'll own strategy across all three and work directly with the founding team and engineering leadership on where to push next, where to consolidate, and where to bet.
You'll be building on an existing product foundation, with a current product team member whose remit will evolve as part of this hire. You're joining a function with continuity rather than starting from zero.
The core challenge: product fit is proven, but the repeatable go-to-market motion hasn't been cracked. Your job is to close that gap and take the company from organic traction to scaled commercial growth.
Less builder, more experimenter. The work is about validating strategic directions by trying real things with real customers, not executing a pre-defined roadmap.
What they're looking for
A senior product leader (Head, Director, VP, or CPO) with the following experience:
- Hands-on, not purely a people manager. You've built product functions rather than inherited mature ones.
- You've shipped B2B data or analytics products for technically sophisticated users. You understand how data infrastructure - streaming, batch, schema, quality - shapes product decisions.
- You've shipped AI-native product and have opinions on the real product decisions: evaluation frameworks, hallucination tolerance, latency versus quality, when to trust the model, human-in-the-loop patterns. Agentic workflows, LLM orchestration, RAG, ML-driven systems all feel familiar.
- You've operated in long, consultative enterprise sales motions. Regulated industries, government, or infrastructure customers. Not PLG.
- You partner with engineering leadership directly and can hold your own on architectural trade-offs.
- You're fluent enough in the modern data and AI stack - Python, cloud-native services, event-driven architectures, MLOps tooling, LLM evaluation - to make informed product calls without relying on engineering to tell you what's possible.
Salary and equity calibrated to the seed-stage AI market for senior product leaders.
Remote-first, UK-based, with regular presence in London.
