Full Stack Engineer
You prototyped it at 9am. By 2pm you're watching a customer use it.
That's not a hypothetical. That's a standard day at this company.
Most engineering roles put distance between you and the outcome. A PM owns the what. A roadmap owns the when. By the time your code reaches a real person, you'll never know what it did.
This role is the structural opposite of that.
I'm hiring three full-stack engineers for a London AI startup backed by LocalGlobe - the VCs behind Mistral, Figma, Monzo and Wise. Mid to staff level. £70K-£130K.
The product
This is the AI OS behind modern account-based marketing. Enterprise teams at Stripe, Ramp, Canva, Datadog and NinjaOne use it to run hyper-personalised 1:1 campaigns at scale.
100+ enterprise customers in under three years. $33K pipeline per $1K ad spend. 2.5x ARR growth last year. Voted as one of the best UK Startups to work at in 2025.
What the work looks like
No handoffs. No waiting for specs.
You own problems end to end across the full stack - Go microservices handling hundreds of millions of events, React/Next.js interfaces for enterprise marketing and sales teams, AI-powered features, event pipelines and CRM sync across Kafka, Postgres, Redis, BigQuery and Vertex AI.
The role leans backend. Go is the primary backend language - if you haven't used it professionally, a strongly typed background and the motivation to pick it up fast is what matters.
You'll work directly with customers and the GTM team to shape what gets built, not just how. The feedback loop between what you ship and what closes a deal is short and real.
The team
CEO: ex-Salesforce Director of Enterprise Sales (AI division), then GTM lead at incident.io.
CTO: ex-American Express engineering lead. Still codes.
Engineers from: Thought Machine, PlayStation, DoorDash, Foundry, Kraken.
What they're looking for
• Product-minded builders who care more about solving the right customer problem than about which part of the stack it lives in.
• Ownership and initiative. You've led projects from ambiguous brief to shipped product, ideally at a startup or fast-moving team.
• Comfort with ambiguity. You thrive without a detailed spec, enjoy figuring out the right approach, and move confidently when the path isn't fully defined.
• Clear communication. You write well, explain technical decisions to non-technical teammates, and give and receive feedback directly.
• Production experience in at least one of Go, TypeScript/React, or cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP, and willingness to learn the rest.
Stack: Go, TypeScript, React, Next.js, Kafka, Postgres, Redis, BigQuery, AWS/GCP
Package: £70K-£130K + meaningful equity. Claude Team, Cursor, and AI tools budget. 25 days holiday. Apple hardware. Enhanced parental leave. Private gym in Shoreditch. Visa sponsorship available.
London office is Tuesdays and Thursdays for those who want hybrid.
Remote considered for UK-based engineers - expectation is 1-2 days in the Shoreditch office per month during probation.
