Embedded Linux Software Engineer

Working primarily in C++, applicants with strong C skills will be considered. The successful Embedded Linux Software Engineer will bring a good academic background to include a minimum of a 2.1 Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Electronics with a software bias.

Key requirements for the Embedded Linux Software Engineer include:

  • C++ development skills or Embedded C with a willingness to learn.
  • Strong experience working with Embedded Linux.
  • Using Linux build systems such as Yocto or PetaLinux.
  • Previous involvement in the set-up / configuration of Embedded Linux systems.
  • Exposure to networking protocols.
  • 2+ years’ commercial Embedded software development experience.
