FPGA Design Engineer

An FPGA Engineer with strong HDL skills as well as some DSP knowledge will join the new FPGA team within a thriving Technical Consultancy; contributing to a range of client projects including the very latest radar, communications and sensing applications. Salary negotiable.

The successful FPGA Engineer will translate customer requirements into robust FPGA based implementations. You’ll ideally have worked with the Vivado toolchain, although other FPGA platforms will be considered.

Of particular interest is experience of open architecture standards such as OpenCPI, STICS or SOSA and an appreciation of RF systems.

Working closely with hardware, software and systems engineers, your development work will primarily target Xilinx silicon; delivering high-quality FPGA/DSP designs and implementations; engaging with Clients on a technical level, undertaking design reviews and bringing your own ideas to solve challenging problems.
