The Opportunity
We’re supporting a growing technology business developing advanced AI-driven systems operating in complex, real-world environments.
Their platform brings together computer vision, geospatial analytics, and multi-source data to solve challenging problems around detection, tracking, and decision-making.
They’re now looking for a Lead Data Scientist / Chief Data Scientist to take ownership of the technical direction of data science and play a key role in shaping how advanced analytics is applied across the organisation.
The Role
This is a high-impact, senior individual contributor role with significant technical ownership.
You’ll act as the technical authority for data science, working closely with the Data Science Manager and engineering teams, while contributing directly to solving complex modelling challenges.
You’ll have influence across:
- Technical direction and architecture
- Model design and approach
- Best practices across the data science function
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading the technical direction of data science and machine learning
- Designing and developing advanced models across computer vision, geospatial, and multi-source data
- Working on problems involving data fusion, tracking, and real-time analysis
- Supporting and mentoring data scientists across the team
- Collaborating with engineering teams to deploy models into production systems
- Driving best practices in model development, validation, and performance optimisation
What They’re Looking For
